Woman Detained in Connection with Telangana Police Officer's Suicide

Hyderabad, Dec 5 (NationPress) In a shocking development related to the suicide of a sub-inspector of police in Telangana's Mulugu district three days prior, authorities have taken into custody a woman who was present with him at the time of the tragic event.
The woman was discovered alongside Rudrapu Harish, aged 31, at a resort, where he tragically took his own life near Mullakatta bridge in Eturanagaram Mandal on Monday.
Following a complaint lodged by Harish's parents, who placed blame on her for their son's untimely death, the 26-year-old woman was detained by the police.
Harish, serving at Wajedu Police Station, was reportedly in love with the woman and had intentions of marrying her. However, after discovering her involvement with another young man, the sub-inspector chose to end their relationship and invited her to the resort to discuss their situation.
During their meeting, they allegedly had a heated exchange, leading to the distraught SI taking his own life with his service revolver.
The officer had met the woman approximately seven months ago through social media, where their relationship deepened. They had made plans to marry. Residing in Hyderabad for educational purposes, she would frequently visit Wajedu on weekends and holidays.
However, upon receiving inquiries from his relatives about her past, Harish learned that the woman from Chilukur in Suryapet district had befriended three young men during her time in Chilkur. After one of them declined her marriage proposal, she filed a complaint with the Chilukur police, resulting in a registered case.
Upon finding out about her previous relationships, Harish decided against marrying her and urged his parents to search for another bride. On December 1, they went to a private resort near Mullakatta to resolve their issues, but a dispute ensued.
Harish sought to terminate the relationship, but the woman threatened to escalate the matter to higher authorities. Fearing repercussions for his career and family, the SI tragically took his life in her presence. Police have opened a case and recorded the woman's statement. Following Harish's parents' complaint, an investigation into her involvement has commenced.
