During the inauguration of a private super-speciality hospital, CM Adityanath stated, "Funds were disbursed to approved hospitals so that citizens can receive top-notch treatment whenever necessary."
He noted that around 10 crore individuals in the state are currently benefiting from the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana or the UP Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
"In alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to healthcare, the state government is also dedicated to providing quality health services and helping people understand that they deserve the finest treatment," he said.
The Chief Minister mentioned that the state requires collaboration from reputable institutions.
He elaborated that over the past eight years, significant advancements have been made in the healthcare sector.
"Transitioning from the era of 'one district, one mafia', we have propelled the health services of the state forward with the concept of 'one district, one medical college'," the Chief Minister explained.
He highlighted that each district has been provided with a medical college and policies have been updated to facilitate the establishment of high-quality hospitals.
"Regulations regarding hospital construction have been revised, allowing hospitals to be built on roads as narrow as seven metres, a change from the previous requirement for an 18-metre road in front of health facilities," he added.
The Chief Minister expressed the state’s eagerness to welcome all interested in establishing hospitals in Uttar Pradesh.
"We have eased construction regulations concerning road widths for hospital sites and assured access to these facilities," he assured, stating that the government will eliminate any obstacles in hospital establishment.
