The Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), a self-sufficient entity under the Ministry of Ayush, arranged the 30th national seminar under the theme “Management of Illness and Wellness in Paediatrics through Ayurveda.”
This two-day seminar was designed to enhance holistic pediatric healthcare by gathering over 500 attendees, including prominent Ayurveda scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students.
“The Kaumarbhritya branch of Ayurveda has the capability to revolutionize child healthcare by merging preventative, promotional, and therapeutic strategies,” Jadhav communicated in a written address during the closing session.
“The collaborative insights shared throughout the seminar will foster new research partnerships and practical frameworks aimed at achieving Swasth Balak and Swasth Bharat,” he added.
The Minister of State underscored that the outcomes of this seminar will fortify India’s pediatric healthcare infrastructure.
Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary at the Ministry of Ayush, remarked that the seminar had established a standard for academic discourse in pediatric Ayurveda. He highlighted the necessity of evidence-based validation and emphasized the importance of collaborative research to integrate Ayurvedic principles with contemporary healthcare practices.
Dr. Vandana Siroha, Director of RAV, concluded by stating that the seminar's accomplishments exemplify RAV’s dedication to fostering the next generation of Ayurveda practitioners and researchers.
The event featured 20 scientific presentations on pediatric health in Ayurveda, along with panel discussions focused on preventive and promotional healthcare for children.
The seminar wrapped up with a consensus that Ayurveda’s comprehensive pediatric practices should be integrated into India’s healthcare system, especially for tackling lifestyle diseases, nutritional deficiencies, and emerging health challenges among children.
This event successfully reaffirmed the significance of Ayurveda as a cornerstone of comprehensive child healthcare and advocated for ongoing knowledge-sharing initiatives at both the national and international levels.
