Amorim Expresses Anger and Disappointment Despite Man Utd's Draw Against Liverpool

Manchester, Jan 6 (NationPress) Manchester United's manager Ruben Amorim is still feeling disheartened about the team's current situation, despite a lively 2-2 draw against the Premier League leaders, Liverpool.
Following a match that ended a three-game losing streak in the league, Amorim acknowledged his ongoing frustration with the recent defeats and urged his squad to maintain consistency in upcoming matches, showcasing the same passion and effort displayed at Anfield.
"I believe we should be more angry and disappointed than we were after the matches against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest. Today, feeling disappointed is essential. I must keep my composure and communicate appropriately. We are in a challenging phase, but it’s tough not to feel really frustrated. I appreciate the performance, but the result is unsatisfactory, and my anger stems from the previous games."
Amorim continued, "At times, it feels like everyone is upset with my players, and I have to take a different approach. Today, everyone will claim they performed well, yet I’m entitled to feel upset," as quoted by the Manchester United website.
Currently, Manchester United sits in 13th place in the Premier League standings, with just three victories in twelve matches across all competitions since Amorim took over as head coach from Erik ten Hag in November.
Amorim implied that significant changes at Manchester United will not occur without a major shake-up.
"I am consistently pushing them (the players) to improve. I believe that everyone, not just the players but all associated with Manchester United, has grown too comfortable. A shock is necessary. Today, we were a different squad. It’s not solely about the system; it’s about our approach to competition," he stated.
