Coimbatore, Oct 1 (NationPress) Delhi’s Arjun Prasad showcased a consistent performance with a two-under 70, taking the lead at the INR 1 crore Tamil Nadu Open 2025 held at the Coimbatore Golf Club. Starting the day in third place, just a shot off the lead, he ended the second round as the leader with a total of four-under 140.
Meanwhile, Jamal Hossain from Bangladesh, who was tied for the lead after the first round, fell to second place with a score of three-under 141 after posting an even-par 72.
Amidst challenging scoring conditions due to strong winds, Pranav Mardikar from Pune recorded the day’s best score of 69, elevating him to tied third at two-under 142, alongside Anshul Patel from Ahmedabad (71).
Anshul Kabthiyal from Delhi also matched the top score of the day with a 69, placing him fifth at one-under 143. In contrast, Gaurav Pratap Singh, who shared the overnight lead with Jamal, struggled with a 79, dropping to tied 20th at four-over 148.
The only Tamil Nadu-based professional to make the cut was S. Prasanth (77-71), who also stands tied at 20th.
