Bengaluru, April 11 (NationPress) Former South African cricketer Mark Boucher praised KL Rahul's composed and match-winning performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, calling it a true masterclass.
Boucher noted that Rahul appeared in sublime form, even ranking this innings higher than his impressive 77 against Chennai Super Kings in DC’s previous match.
Rahul entered the game when DC was struggling at 10-2 in just 2.1 overs of their chase, delivering a remarkable unbeaten 93, marking his second consecutive half-century as DC pursued a target of 164.
After DC fell to 58/4, Rahul smashed six maximums and seven fours in his 53-ball innings, forming a crucial 111-run partnership with Tristan Stubbs (38 not out) that propelled his team to their fourth win in four matches.
