The Commonwealth Sport representatives expressed admiration for the extensive planning, superior quality of venues, and robust backing from both national and state authorities in India for the upcoming CWG 2030.

The delegation conducted a detailed multi-city tour from April 8–10, evaluating essential venues and infrastructure across Amdavad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, and Ekta Nagar. This visit included inspections of key competition venues such as Mahatma Mandir, Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Narendra Modi Stadium, and IIT Gandhinagar, along with meetings with senior officials from the Government of Gujarat and local authorities.
In addition to venue evaluations, the delegation engaged in discussions with senior leaders in Indian sports, including meetings with the CGA (India), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and other stakeholders to assess progress, governance structures, and plans for the Games.
This visit continues the dialogue between Commonwealth Sport and Indian stakeholders aimed at enhancing the vision for a historic centenary edition of the Commonwealth Games in 2030.
