Benjamin Assongo kicked off the scoring in the 15th minute, followed by Ajay Samuel who doubled their lead ten minutes later. Assongo netted his second just before halftime, while Samuel added another in the 72nd minute. Lorenzo Sanchez capped off the commanding performance with a well-placed finish five minutes before the final whistle.
On the other hand, Punjab FC—the reigning champions of the U-17 football tournament—bounced back from an early challenge to secure a 3-1 victory over Football 4 Change. After conceding to Houlungou Mate's fifth-minute goal, Rishikanta Singh equalized, followed by Vishal Yadav's two goals in the second half to clinch the win.
In the morning matches, Reliance Foundation Young Champs exhibited brilliance against Dempo SC.
