Goa, April 16 (NationPress) The RAIA Sports Ground was the site of the spectacular finale for the Dream Sports Championship Football 2025 National Finals. In this thrilling tournament, Jharkhand FA emerged as champions in the girls' category, while Punjab FC successfully defended their title in the boys' category.

The Girls' National Finals showcased an exciting match between Jharkhand FA and Odisha FA, resulting in a hard-fought 1-0 victory for Jharkhand. Anamika Sanga was the standout player for Jharkhand, netting the decisive goal in the 20th minute. Despite relentless attempts from Odisha to equalize, Jharkhand's defense, spearheaded by skipper Chandani Kumari, held strong until the final whistle.

"Winning the championship was vital for our team. Our strategy to maintain possession helped protect our slim lead," expressed Chandani after the match.

PFC took an early lead thanks to Subham Gurung, who scored in the 10th minute, and doubled their lead in the second half with a goal from Ashish Lohar in the 64th minute, effectively sealing the championship.
