Lucknow, April 12 (NationPress) Shubman Gill, the captain of the Gujarat Titans, praised his bowlers for their pivotal role in achieving a seven-wicket victory over the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday. He emphasized their discipline during the powerplay and middle overs, which was crucial in limiting the opposition's runs.
“The performance in the powerplay was outstanding. The way we maintained pressure in the middle overs was also remarkable. It certainly simplifies my job,” Gill remarked, acknowledging the team's collective effort.
He particularly commended Rashid Khan, highlighting his knack for shifting the momentum in favor of the Titans. “Rashid's current form is exceptional; he consistently brings us back into the game whenever another bowler is under duress. His ability to secure wickets and deliver dot balls makes my role much easier,” he noted.

I believe we gave away about 10 runs more than we should have, especially with them at six or seven down. However, at the outset, we would have accepted a score of 160 on this wicket,” he elaborated.
