New Delhi, July 11 (NationPress) Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Indian women's cricket team for achieving a landmark first T20I series victory over England on their home turf.
The team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, clinched the series after triumphing in the fourth match of the five-match series by six wickets at Old Trafford, thus securing a 3-1 unassailable lead.
On social media platform X, Dhawan remarked, "What an incredible occasion for Indian cricket! Hats off to our Women’s Team for making history with their inaugural T20I series victory in England. You have inspired many to elevate women's sports!"
Following their success, the Indian captain expressed her joy about the achievement and commended her teammates for their collective effort.
