The ticketing process for the two crucial knockout games begins with a special two-day pre-sale exclusively for Google Pay users via Tickets.cricketworldcup.com, followed by a general sale starting from Tuesday, October 13 at 7 PM IST, as stated in an ICC release.
Fans can purchase tickets for the first semi-final at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on October 29 and for the second semi-final at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on October 30. Should the first semi-final not take place in Guwahati, fans will be eligible for a full refund of their purchase.
Adhering to their fan-first approach for affordable ticket options, seats for the first semi-final in Guwahati start at a mere Rs 100, while tickets for the second semi-final in Navi Mumbai begin at Rs 150, the ICC added.
The ticket demand has been overwhelming as the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup returns to India after a 12-year hiatus. Earlier this week, tickets for the India vs Australia match in Visakhapatnam on October 12 and the India vs England match in Indore on October 19 sold out completely.
Tickets for the India vs New Zealand match on October 23 and the India vs Bangladesh match on October 26, both taking place at the DY Patil Stadium, are also on the brink of selling out.
The tournament launched with an electrifying opening match in Guwahati, smashing the record for the highest attendance at a group-stage game in an ICC Women’s event, with 22,843 fans present.
The previous record stood at 15,935 during the India vs Pakistan match in Dubai at the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
