Ahmedabad, March 10 (NationPress) The second edition of the Indorama Ventures Open Golf Championship is set to take place from March 12 to 15 at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmedabad. This event is organized in collaboration with the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (DP World PGTI), which serves as the official regulatory body for men's professional golf in India.
This year's tournament boasts an impressive prize purse of US$300,000 (approximately INR 2.76 crore), marking it as the highest prize money event ever held by the DP World PGTI in Gujarat.
A total of 143 players will compete in this stroke-play format, which consists of four rounds of 18 holes. The top 60 players along with ties will advance past the cut after the initial two rounds, with the course par set at 72.
The lineup features prominent Indian golfers including Yuvraj Sandhu (the 2025 DP World PGTI Order of Merit Champion), Veer Ahlawat, Om Prakash Chouhan, Manu Gandas, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Shaurya Bhattacharya, Honey Baisoya, and Angad Cheema. Notable local professionals such as Anshul Patel, Krish Patel, and Aditya Raj Kumar Chauhan will also participate.
Internationally, the tournament will feature esteemed professionals including Jhared Hack (USA), Matthias Schwab (Austria), Clement Sordet (France), Joshua Grenville-Wood (UAE), and others from various countries.
