PKL Season 11: Haryana Steelers Take Sweet Revenge Against Telugu Titans

Pune, Dec 9 (NationPress) In a thrilling encounter, the Haryana Steelers, led by a stellar performance from Shivam Patare, triumphed with a commanding score of 46-25 against the Telugu Titans in Match 101 of Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the Badminton Hall in Balewadi Stadium on Monday.
This was a memorable night for the supporters as Patare concluded the match with 12 points, helping the Haryana Steelers reaffirm their status as the league leaders while also avenging their earlier defeat to the Telugu Titans during the Noida Leg of PKL 11.
The Steelers’ raider Vinay kicked off the match with vigor, quickly securing three raid points to grant his team an early advantage. Conversely, Ashish Narwal from the Telugu Titans initiated the game with an effective raid that sidelined Jaideep and Sanjay. Despite this initial challenge, the Haryana Steelers remained dominant and executed the first All Out on the Telugu Titans just nine minutes into the first half.
The first half continued in a similar fashion, with the Haryana Steelers increasing their lead to an impressive 19 points at halftime. This was largely due to a second ALL OUT inflicted on the Telugu Titans. The confident Mohammadreza Shadloui showcased his all-round capabilities, contributing three tackle points and two raid points.
Patare also made significant contributions, finishing the first half with seven points, including a multi-point raid that took down Ashish Narwal and Ajit Pawar. Consequently, the score stood at 28-9 in favor of the table leaders at halftime.
The second half kicked off with a crucial raid by the Telugu Titans captain Vijay Malik, who managed to take down Shadloui and Jaideep simultaneously. However, the Haryana Steelers quickly answered back as Patare reached his Super 10 by evading Krishan Dhull in a Do-Or-Die raid. Despite the efforts of Ashish Narwal and Vijay Malik, they struggled to gain additional support from their teammates.
A Super Tackle executed by Vijay Malik and Ashish Narwal brought some joy to the Telugu Titans supporters, and shortly after, Ashish swiftly touched Shadloui to return safely to his side in the final minutes of the match. This effort prevented a third All Out against the Telugu Titans, yet they ultimately fell short, losing by 21 points, which dealt a significant blow to their playoff aspirations.
