Houston, Sep 7 (NationPress) Pranavi Urs kicked off her round with an impressive performance, scoring four birdies within just five holes, leading to a commendable 3-under 69 in her second round at the Aramco Houston Championship. Currently, she stands tied for 26th place with a total of 3-under after rounds of 72-69, making her the only Indian player to advance past the cut.
Unfortunately, Avani Prashanth (73-73) and Tvesa Malik (73-77) did not make the cut, which was set at even par, with 61 players qualifying at the Golfcrest Country Club.
On the leaderboard, Carlota Ciganda of Spain delivered a remarkable second round of 64 (-8), securing a one-shot lead as the tournament heads into the final day.
