After a challenging period away from the sport due to a wrist injury, Pranavi aims to regain her competitive edge in the upcoming season.

With Diksha Dagar not participating at Golfcrest Country Club in Houston, the Indian squad also features rookie Avani Prashanth and seasoned player Tvesa Malik.

This year’s Houston Championship has attracted 104 professionals who will compete in a 36-hole team format as well as a 54-hole individual stroke play event.

Pranavi, a former multiple-time champion on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, is still in pursuit of her first victory on the LET. In the team competition, she will team up with Manon De Roey (BEL), Daniela Darquea (ECU), and Polly Mack (GER).

Meanwhile, Avani Prashanth will be paired with Laura Fuenfstueck (GER), Rosie Davies (ENG), and Vanessa Bouvet (FRA).

Tvesa will join forces with Darcey Harry (WAL), Olivia Cowan (GER), and Virginia Elena Carta (ITA).

A total of 26 teams, each consisting of four professionals, will participate in this tournament, with team captains chosen based on the official Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings as of August 25, 2025.

Similar to past tournaments, captains were selected in reverse ranking order, allowing the 26th-ranked captain to choose first and the top-ranked captain to choose last.

Each captain selected one professional for their team, while the third and fourth members were drawn at random.

The competition features Leonie Harm, who studied at the University of Houston from 2016 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical and Biophysical Sciences. Returning to Houston holds special significance for the German player, who set multiple college records and will have her friend Devaughn Robinson as her caddy this week.
