This performance was instrumental in limiting the Lucknow Super Giants to a score of 164/8 during their IPL 2026 encounter at the Ekana Stadium.

With outstanding figures of 4/28, the right-arm pacer emphasized that his confidence, built from consistent game time, alongside the supportive atmosphere within the Gujarat camp, significantly contributed to his success this season.

“Feeling confident after a full season and having a positive team environment is crucial for me,” Prasidh remarked after the match.

Executing his deliveries effectively in the middle overs, Prasidh dismantled the core of LSG’s batting lineup by dismissing key players like Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran. However, he was modest about his individual success, attributing it to advantageous situations and the relentless pressure exerted by his fellow bowlers.

“I can't say it was all skill; I got fortunate with some deliveries that turned into wicket-taking balls. The pitch presented challenges for both batsmen and bowlers, requiring bowlers to be precise. It was a team effort that allowed us to maintain pressure, and I was just the fortunate one to claim the wickets today,” he explained.

The Ekana pitch exhibited inconsistent bounce, necessitating discipline, which the Gujarat bowlers largely demonstrated, especially during a critical phase when LSG struggled to score runs.

Despite his stellar performance, Prasidh warned that the pitch remained competitive for both batsmen and bowlers, pointing out the late runs conceded by Gujarat in the death overs as a sign of the challenges posed by the wicket.

“Bowlers need to hit their lines consistently. It's not just about bowling; you can still concede runs if you're off your game, as we saw in the closing overs. This wicket presents challenges for everyone,” he noted.

His exceptional spell helped the Gujarat Titans maintain dominance for most of the innings, although a late surge from LSG raised their total to a competitive 164, setting up an exciting chase ahead.
