Ranchi, July 5 (NationPress) Puducherry Hockey and Hockey Uttarakhand secured impressive victories in their respective matches on the third day of the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship 2025, held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium on Saturday.

In a thrilling Division ‘C’ encounter, Puducherry Hockey showcased their skills by defeating Hockey Raj with a score of 4-1 in the capital of Jharkhand.

After a scoreless first quarter, Indhuja E. (33’) opened the scoring, giving Puducherry a lead as they headed into halftime. The third quarter saw Captain Kanagasri (39’) extend their advantage with a second goal.

The final quarter was dominated by Deepika Dass (48’, 55’), who netted two goals, sealing a comfortable win for Puducherry Hockey. Although Laxmi (56’) scored a consolation goal for Hockey Raj, it was not enough to change the outcome.
