Dubai, March 19 (NationPress) The opening duo of Tim Seifert and Finn Allen, along with new-ball bowler Jacob Duffy, have significantly improved their standings in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings after their contributions propelled New Zealand to a 2-0 lead against Pakistan in the five-match T20I series.
The Black Caps have already established a 2-0 advantage over Pakistan in the series, thanks to their fresh opening pair, which has been quite effective during the Powerplay phases in both matches.
Seifert, who scored 44 runs off 29 balls in the first match in Christchurch and 45 runs off 22 balls in the second, has climbed 20 places to reach 13th position. Meanwhile, Allen has ascended eight spots to 18th, with his scores of 29 not out off 17 and 38 off 16, as reported by the ICC.
