New Delhi, Jan 30 (NationPress) V Srinivasan, the spouse of PT Usha, who is the president of the Indian Olympic Association and a Rajya Sabha MP, has sadly passed away at the age of 64. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to PT Usha to convey his heartfelt condolences following her husband's demise.
Srinivasan, who previously held a position as an inspector with the CISF, entered into matrimony with PT Usha in 1991. Together, they had a son named Ujjwal Vignesh.
Tragically, Srinivasan collapsed at their residence located in Thikkodi Perumalpuram, Kerala, during the early hours of Friday. He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital but unfortunately could not be revived.

In his younger days, Srinivasan was a kabaddi player and played a significant role in founding and managing the Usha School of Athletics in Koyilandy, which has been instrumental in developing future Indian athletic talents. He served as the treasurer of the school and was a vital support system for Usha, inspiring her to pursue her dreams.
