Mysuru, May 28 (NationPress) Vani Kapoor, a prominent figure in Indian golf, is poised to pick up from her impressive performances prior to the hiatus in the Women’s Pro Golf Tour. She achieved a remarkable three consecutive victories before the WPGT paused in late March. The Tour is set to resume at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club in Mysuru for its seventh leg.
This season, Vani has shown exceptional skill. Out of five events, she has clinched victory in three during the fourth, fifth, and sixth legs, finishing as the runner-up in the second and third. Having missed the opening event, she has consistently landed in the Top two across her five starts, and now she aims for an astounding fourth consecutive win in Mysuru.
Although Sneha Singh, who has two wins to her name, will not be competing this week, Rhea Purvi Saravanan, the winner of the season opener, will make her return. Currently, there are only three players who have claimed victories this season.
