New Delhi, Feb 27 (NationPress) The Aam Aadmi Party expressed its approval regarding the Delhi court's ruling that exonerated former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia from the alleged corruption charges associated with the terminated excise policy. The party asserted that this ruling reveals a 'political conspiracy' crafted by the BJP against AAP and its leadership.

In response to the court's decision, AAP representatives stated that the ruling has confirmed their persistent assertion that the allegations were driven by political motives.

AAP leader Somnath Bharti remarked, “Today, the political conspiracy of the BJP against AAP and Arvind Kejriwal has been laid bare for all to see. We have consistently maintained that this case was concocted to tarnish our leadership.”

Punjab Minister Aman Arora shared similar views, noting, “They attempted to tarnish Arvind Kejriwal’s integrity with these liquor scam accusations. Today, that blemish has been eradicated. The truth has triumphed.”

AAP leader Sunny Singh Ahluwalia stated, “Once again, it has been demonstrated that the Aam Aadmi Party is a party committed to integrity and clean governance. The public can clearly discern such conspiracies.”

Punjab Minister Harjot Singh Bains expressed gratitude, saying, “I am thankful to God. Today, truth has prevailed.”

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema welcomed the verdict and extended thanks to the judiciary.

“First and foremost, I wish to express my gratitude to the judiciary and also honor the architect of the Constitution, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who dedicated his life to creating our remarkable Constitution. Under its provisions, our National Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and other AAP leaders have received justice. Today, truth has won, and lies have been unmasked,” he stated.

AAP MLA Labh Singh Ugoke conveyed his heartfelt appreciation for the fair legal process that was followed. Through a meticulous investigation, our national leaders, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, have been acquitted. Truth has triumphed by the grace of God, and the court has ruled in their favor.

Other political figures also responded to the news.

Congress MLC Bhai Jagtap noted, “Truth has won. Regardless of how many falsehoods the government or BJP leaders propagate, those who trust in the judiciary find solace in such rulings. This ultimately signifies a victory for truth.”

However, Congress leader Pawan Khera raised concerns regarding the timing of legal actions in various cases, stating, “Everything is before you. Is it merely a coincidence that certain actions coincide with elections? The public is keenly observing these trends.”

West Bengal Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya accused the central government of misusing central agencies, asserting, “We have repeatedly stated that the Centre is deploying these agencies for political ends. These entities ought to operate independently, and their autonomy is essential. They should not be exploited for the benefit of any specific political party.”

Conversely, BJP leaders called for further examination.

BJP MLA Anand Mishra stated, “I believe the matter merits review. If the case has persisted for such an extended period, there may be elements that necessitate closer scrutiny. The government might contemplate pursuing a review.”

BJP Uttar Pradesh President Pankaj Chaudhary commented, “The law and the courts operate independently. If an individual is found guilty, the court responds accordingly. We respect the judicial process.”
