Ahmedabad, March 19 (NationPress) The Adani Group is poised to make its debut in Indian professional golf with the introduction of the ‘Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025’, in collaboration with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), which serves as the official sanctioning organization for men’s professional golf in India.
The first-ever tournament, featuring a prize pool of Rs 1.5 crore, is scheduled to take place at the Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort in Greater Noida from April 1-4, marking the return of PGTI to this venue after an 11-year hiatus.
This initiative by the Adani Group aims to enhance golf's accessibility and elevate its position as a mainstream sport, while also nurturing the next generation of global champions from India.
Additionally, the collaboration involves the creation of a joint Adani-PGTI golf training academy at the Belvedere Golf & Country Club in Ahmedabad. This initiative supports Adani's commitment to grassroots development and bolsters India's ambitions for the 2036 Olympics.

A pre-tournament event is scheduled for March 29 at The Belvedere Golf & Country Club in Ahmedabad. During this event, five elite PGTI professionals will lead a golf clinic aimed at introducing the sport to 50 children from The Adani International School.
