“I hold the ticket for Mokama. It feels great to be back in my village. I plan to stay overnight and head back to Patna tomorrow. I am optimistic about my release from jail within 10 to 20 days,” he stated.
This declaration ignited excitement and hope among his supporters, many of whom are convinced that Singh's return could significantly influence local political dynamics in the Mokama area, where he commands substantial support.
The MP/MLA court granted the one-day parole to enable Singh to participate in a family wedding. Upon his arrival in his ancestral village, a large gathering of supporters welcomed him with enthusiastic chants.
Emotions soared as the crowd clamored to catch a glimpse of their leader, with cheers of “Chhote Sarkar Zindabad” resonating throughout the event. Singh was present at the wedding of his cousin brother Biranchi Singh's daughter.

Anant Singh has been incarcerated in Beur Jail since the firearms incident in Nauranga-Jalajpur village on January 23, involving an exchange of over 200 gunshots between Singh and the Sonu-Monu gang.
Singh turned himself in to the Barh Sub-Divisional Court on January 24, after being remanded to judicial custody for 14 days, and has remained in jail since.
