Anushka Shetty's Upcoming Film ‘Ghaati’ Set for Release on April 18, 2025

Mumbai, Dec 15 (NationPress) Actress Anushka Shetty is ready to embody a fiercely violent character in her upcoming film Ghaati, which is set to hit theaters on April 18 next year.
The film's producers announced the summer release date through a light-hearted video featuring Krish, Anushka, and the production team.
The release date poster highlights Anushka's intense look, clad in a black saree and brandishing a gun. The image captures the actress's serious expression, adorned with blood splatters.
The tagline states: “Victim, Criminal, Legend,” suggesting the film will present an unconventional storyline that explores themes of humanity, survival, and redemption. It promises to be an intense and gripping examination of the moral gray areas between right and wrong.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, Ghaati is produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi, presented by UV Creations. This film marks the second collaboration between Anushka and Krish after their successful venture with the blockbuster Vedam, and it is also Anushka's fourth project with UV Creations.
Manojh Reddy Katasani is in charge of cinematography, Nagavelli Vidya Sagar is composing the score, and Thota Tharrani serves as the art director.
Editing duties are handled by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu and Venkat N Swamy, while Sai Madhav Burra provides the dialogue. The film is being produced on a lavish scale, featuring a significant budget and high technical standards.
Ghaati is set to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The screenplay is crafted by Krish Jagarlamudi and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under the banner of First Frame Entertainment, with presentation by UV Creations.
Anushka has made a name for herself primarily in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She debuted in acting with the 2005 Telugu film Super. The subsequent year, she starred in S. S. Rajamouli's blockbuster Vikramarkudu. Her notable films include Lakshyam, Souryam, and Chintakayala Rav.
In 2009, Shetty took on dual roles in the Telugu dark fantasy film Arundhati. The following year, she appeared in the praised drama Vedam. Her role as Princess Devasena in the Baahubali series garnered her widespread recognition.
