New Delhi, Jan 22 (NationPress) As the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative celebrates a decade, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the movement's achievements in tackling gender biases and promoting education for girls.
In a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi shared insights on the programme's significant evolution over the years.
He stated, “Today we commemorate 10 years of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao movement. Over this decade, it has emerged as a transformative, community-driven initiative that has engaged individuals from diverse backgrounds.”
Emphasizing its accomplishments, the Prime Minister noted that the initiative has been crucial in advancing gender equality and offering opportunities to young girls.
