Sitamarhi, Oct 17 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma delivered a strong political critique during a public gathering at Dumra Airfield in Sitamarhi, amid the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections. He accused the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress of transforming Bihar into a hub of corruption and nepotism.

The Chief Minister stated, "The RJD and Congress are synonymous with loot, corruption, and the betrayal of Bihar's disadvantaged citizens."

"Engulfed by the arrogance of power, they enriched themselves while the populace faced hardship," Chief Minister Sharma further remarked.

He emphasized that the NDA government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has fulfilled its electoral commitments and is diligently working towards a developed and thriving Bihar.

"Currently, under the NDA's guidance, Bihar is progressing at an impressive rate of 14 percent, with development evident across multiple sectors," he noted.

Mithila is also recognized as a land of faith, culture, and knowledge.

Commending the cultural and spiritual legacy of Mithila, Chief Minister Sharma remarked, "This sacred territory is the birthplace of Mother Janaki and has been the 'Karma bhoomi' of esteemed sages like Maharishi Yagyavalkya, Gargi, and Maitreyi. Bihar stands as a beacon of knowledge in India, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment and Lord Mahavira propagated the message of non-violence."

Reflecting on the challenging times under previous administrations, the Chief Minister recounted, "During the regime of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, Bihar experienced 'jungle raj'. Law and order deteriorated severely, with rampant crimes like kidnapping, rape, murder, and dacoity. Infrastructure was crumbling, education was chaotic, and healthcare was in shambles, forcing our youth to seek employment in distant states."

Chief Minister Sharma credited the NDA administration for restoring law and order and leading infrastructure advancements in Bihar.

"Thousands of kilometers of roads have been built, and free higher education is being granted to daughters. Through the Jeevika Yojana, millions of women have achieved self-sufficiency," he added.

He also emphasized the development of Darbhanga Airport, which has created fresh opportunities for the people of Mithila, Kosi, and Seemanchal, alongside the revitalization of Punaura Dham with the establishment of a temple for Mother Janaki, inspired by the Ram Temple.

The Chief Minister affirmed that Bihar is on the trajectory towards becoming a developed state, following the Prime Minister's vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas".

"Over 74 lakh farmers in Bihar have benefited from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. A Makhana Board has been established to enhance Mithila's agricultural capabilities. Women have been allocated a 35 percent reservation in jobs. Bihar has received 125 units of free electricity, and six million families have been given permanent housing under the PM Awas Yojana," he stated.

In contrast to previous governments' contributions, the Chief Minister remarked, "While the UPA government allocated merely Rs 2 lakh crore over ten years, Prime Minister Modi has provided Rs 14.85 lakh crore for Bihar's development."

Cautioning against the dangers of illegal immigration in Bihar, Chief Minister Sharma warned, "Infiltrators are abusing Bihar's resources, seizing jobs, and misusing government schemes. However, those engaging in appeasement politics wish to keep this concealed. The NDA administration is dedicated to safeguarding Bihar's resources and will not tolerate such infiltration."

He encouraged the public to support NDA candidates in the forthcoming Bihar elections, stating, "To further propel Bihar's development, ensure a decisive victory for BJP candidates -- Anil Kumar Ram (Bathnaha), Gayatri Devi (Parihar), Baidyanath Prasad (Riga), Sunil Kumar Pintu (Sitamarhi), and Nagendra Raut (Sursand)."

"These (BJP) leaders will strive for development, education, employment, security, and prosperity in Bihar," he concluded.

The rally saw the presence of Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, Sitamarhi MP Devesh Chandra Thakur, Dharmshila Gupta, Damodar Agrawal, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Bihar Minister Moti Lal Prasad, and Rajasthan Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot, alongside numerous public representatives and a substantial gathering of BJP supporters.
