Gandhinagar, April 11 (NationPress) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to initiate a coordinated election campaign across 15 municipal corporations in Gujarat this Sunday. Candidates will collectively make a pledge of public service under the 'Janseva Sankalp' initiative, marking the official commencement of their campaign for the forthcoming local body elections.
As stated by BJP leaders on Saturday, the campaign will kick off at 9:30 a.m. simultaneously in all 15 municipal corporations.
This event is organized following the completion of candidate nomination filings that occurred on Saturday and is executed under the guidance of State BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma.
During the campaign launch, the BJP candidates will unite to pledge their commitment to public service.
The party further disclosed that senior BJP leaders will be assigned to each municipal corporation as part of their organizational strategy.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will lead the program in Ahmedabad, while State BJP President Vishwakarma will attend in Rajkot.
Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and State BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ratnakar Pandey will represent the party in Vadodara.
Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil will be present in Surat, while BJP MP Parshottam Rupala is slated to attend in Jamnagar.
Former State BJP President R.C. Faldu will join in Bhavnagar.
In Vapi, State BJP Scheduled Tribe Morcha President Ganpat Vasava will represent the party, while State Minister Kanu Desai will attend in Navsari.
Former Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama is expected in Mehsana.
State BJP General Secretary Aniruddh Dave will be in Gandhidham, and former Minister Gordhanbhai Zadafia will attend in Anand.
