This committee was announced by the State BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma after discussions with the party’s national leadership and advisory board.

Notable members of this committee include Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Vishwakarma himself, Union Minister C. R. Patil, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, State General Secretary (Organisation) Ratnakarji, Minister Jitu Vaghani, Minister Rushikesh Patel, Scheduled Tribe Morcha President and MLA Ganpatsinh Vasava, Minister Darshana Vaghela, along with former ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and I. K. Jadeja.

This announcement coincided with a state-level organizational meeting at the BJP headquarters in Gandhinagar, presided over by Vishwakarma, alongside State Organisation General Secretary Ratnakarji and State Election Management Committee in-charge Gordhan Zadafia, together with state officials, campaign leaders, and general secretaries from various districts and cities.

According to the state unit of the party, Vishwakarma offered comprehensive insights on organizational readiness and micro-strategies for the elections, detailing preparations from district and city levels down to individual booths.

He indicated that the party would launch a door-to-door outreach initiative. “With the performance record of the BJP and the development achieved in Gujarat under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a vast army of BJP workers will engage in door-to-door outreach,” he asserted.

He stressed the importance of enhancing internal coordination, asserting that “communication, contact, and coordination must be further reinforced through outreach, travel, and diligent efforts,” while discussing pre-election strategies with leaders at district, city, and mandal levels.

Ratnakarji emphasized that the party would approach the elections with its full organizational might. “The BJP in Gujarat has cultivated a legacy of exemplary victories in every election, and to uphold this tradition, the party will enter the electoral arena with complete strength,” he stated.

He mentioned that a comprehensive contact campaign would be initiated to connect with households and enhance public engagement, while also providing direction on executing a precise and effective election strategy.

Gordhanbhai Zadafia, in charge of the State Election Management Committee, stated that preparations are in full swing ahead of the anticipated announcement regarding local body elections. “The announcement regarding the impending local self-governance elections is expected soon, and BJP workers are ready to secure a significant victory,” he added, noting that party members are being trained for Assembly, Lok Sabha, and local body elections.

He referred to local self-governance institutions as “the cornerstone of democracy.”

Zadafia indicated that meetings focused on election management at district and mandal levels are set to conclude by March 26. Additionally, on March 29, a statewide ‘Mann Ki Baat Tiffin Ke Saath’ program will be organized at the booth level as part of outreach connected to the Prime Minister’s address.

He added that the party would celebrate its foundation day on April 6 and commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on April 14.

The establishment of the Pradesh Sankalan Samiti aims to ensure seamless coordination among senior leaders and organizational units as they gear up for the forthcoming elections across local self-governance institutions in Gujarat.
