New Delhi, April 15 (NationPress) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for the Class 10 examinations on Wednesday, achieving an impressive overall pass rate of 93.70%—slightly up from last year's 93.66%. The results were made public at 4 p.m. and can be accessed via the Board's official websites, as well as through DigiLocker and UMANG platforms, allowing students easy access to their scorecards.
In total, 24,83,479 students registered for the exam, with 24,71,777 participating and 23,16,008 being successful, showcasing a stable trend in performance.
A notable highlight is that 55,368 students—approximately 2.24%—achieved scores of 95% or more. Furthermore, 2,21,574 students, or about 8.96% of those who passed, scored 90% and above.
In total, nearly 2.75 lakh students fall into the high-achiever category, indicating strong academic results.
Particularly impressive is the performance of students with special needs, with 452 scoring above 90% and 91 surpassing 95%, demonstrating the positive outcomes of inclusive education practices.
On the flip side, 1,47,172 students—around 5.95% of all examinees—are categorized for supplementary exams, a figure relatively consistent with the previous year's 1,41,353. These students will have the chance to improve their scores in upcoming supplementary assessments.
