Jammu, April 7 (NationPress) - A refresher course in counter-terrorism has officially started for members of the J&K Police at the Army’s Tiger Division on Tuesday.

According to a statement from Defence Ministry spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Suneel Bartwal, an inauguration ceremony marking the beginning of the Counter-Insurgency/Counter-Terrorism Refresher Course for J&K Police personnel took place at the Tiger Division.

The event saw attendance from Anand Jain, Indian Police Service and Additional Director General of Police, Armed J&K, alongside the General Officer Commanding Tiger Division and other senior officials from the Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police.

This refresher course, which is set to run from April 7 to April 18, 2026, was collaboratively designed by senior leaders from both the Indian Army and J&K Police.
