New Delhi, Sep 15 (NationPress) On the occasion of the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Delhi Legislative Assembly is set to host a special exhibition titled “Know Your Prime Minister”, as announced by Speaker Vijender Gupta on Monday.
This exhibition will highlight the Prime Minister’s remarkable journey and will be accessible to the public until October 2.
“This initiative will enable citizens to connect with the inspiring path of their Prime Minister, his vision, and his vital contributions to nation-building,” Gupta stated.
In conjunction with the celebrations, a dedicated book gallery focused on the Prime Minister will be inaugurated in the Assembly Library, allowing legislators and scholars to explore his thoughts, words, and actions.
A Tree Plantation Drive will also be launched in alignment with the Prime Minister’s initiative “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, representing growth, sustainability, and a commitment to hand over a greener, healthier, and more resilient India to future generations, Gupta remarked.
The Speaker emphasized that this event is not merely a celebration of an individual’s life but a tribute to a leader whose vision and dedicated service are now integral to the narrative of New India.
He pointed out that the historic halls, which have witnessed India’s democratic evolution, remind us that genuine leadership stems from duty rather than privilege.
Few lives exemplify this as profoundly as Narendra Modi — a son of the soil who ascended from modest beginnings to the nation’s highest office through unwavering dedication and service.
Gupta added that Modi’s story encapsulates the essence of democracy: that in India, leadership is earned through sacrifice, vision, and faith in the populace.
Gupta reviewed the exhibition hall and the dedicated gallery in the library alongside senior officers from the Delhi Assembly and the Public Works Department, ensuring all arrangements for the forthcoming event were in place.
He has also invited all MLAs, encouraging them to inform and motivate people in their constituencies to attend the event and gain a deeper understanding of the Prime Minister’s life and contributions.
