Former Delhi BJP President and MLA Satish Upadhyay, accompanied by local party workers, also honored the memory of Bhagat Singh by laying flowers at his statue in a program held at Bhagat Singh Park located in Malviya Nagar.
While addressing the gathering at the state office, Sachdeva emphasized that the revered figures of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru are eternal symbols of courage in India’s freedom struggle, who selflessly sacrificed their lives for the nation.
These revolutionaries challenged the British Empire with their iconic slogan, "Inquilab Zindabad", and were executed in Lahore Jail on March 23, 1931, a date now recognized as "Martyrs' Day", the Delhi BJP President stated.
Sachdeva highlighted that their sacrifice transcends political resistance; it serves as a guiding light of patriotism for India's youth.
"Even today, their valor and clear ideologies motivate millions across the nation. The contributions of these great sons of India will forever be etched in history in golden letters," he stated.
At the event, Delhi BJP General Secretary and MP Yogendra Chandolia, along with other key figures such as State BJP Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor, Media Relations Head Vikram Mittal, Spokesperson Yasir Jilani, Co-Office Secretary Amit Gupta, and local leaders including Rakesh Verma, Prem Chand Saini, and Sunil Sharma, were present with a large turnout of party workers.

The Chief Minister also launched a meticulously restored 'Historical Court Trial Room', a site of immense significance as it once hosted the trials of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev during the quest for independence.
Speaking to the crowd, Chief Minister Gupta mentioned that March 23 is a day filled with pride and emotional reverence for the entire nation.
"This day serves as a reminder of the ultimate sacrifices made by brave freedom fighters who fought for the liberation of our country. Revitalizing these memories within this historic site is a deeply significant moment for every Indian," she remarked.
