New Delhi, March 27 (NationPress) The Delhi Minister of Health and Transport, Pankaj Kumar Singh, expressed his discontent on Friday regarding the absence of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Opposition MLAs during critical Assembly sessions, notably when the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports were presented.
During a press briefing following the conclusion of the Delhi Assembly's Budget Session, the Minister stated that such behavior demonstrates a lack of accountability and jeopardizes the democratic framework.
He pointed out that the Opposition seemed to avoid participating in discussions surrounding contentious topics, including the 'Sheeshmahal', which is the renovated official residence of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
"The Opposition intentionally chose to be absent during vital proceedings, including the CAG and PAC report presentations, understanding that subjects like the 'Sheeshmahal' would be brought up," he stated.
