BJP Critiques AAP Government for Not Presenting CAG Report in Assembly

New Delhi, Jan 13 (NationPress) The BJP has launched a strong critique against the AAP government in Delhi, referring to its failure to present the CAG report regarding the liquor policy in the Assembly as another example of anarchist behavior.

The BJP highlighted the remarks made by the Delhi High Court, deeming the AAP government's hesitation to present the CAG report as “unfortunate”.

BJP spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sudhanshu Trivedi condemned the so-called “honest” government, stating that it informed the High Court that it does not find it necessary to present the CAG report in the Assembly.

“Their anarchist nature is increasingly infiltrating constitutional institutions and processes that are essential for effective governance,” Trivedi asserted.

He claimed that the AAP government is attempting to conceal its financial performance assessments, leading to a constitutional crisis.

Trivedi demanded explanations from “super CM” Arvind Kejriwal, questioning why numerous CAG reports have not been presented in the Assembly. “Why do they assert that presenting the CAG reports is pointless?” he inquired.

He expressed that the Delhi government's refusal to present the CAG report indicates that there are dark secrets they wish to keep hidden.

Trivedi also criticized Kejriwal for his repeated failures to uphold his commitments, stating, “If there’s a widespread perception of a credibility crisis in politics today, Kejriwal symbolizes this crisis of credibility.”

He dismissed Chief Minister Atishi’s efforts to crowd fund her election campaign as a facade, claiming, “Just as Atishi herself is a mask or temporary CM, her crowd funding gimmick is also a mask to divert attention, but the voters of Delhi can see right through it.”

When asked about AAP leaders’ allegations that LG V.K. Saxena was misrepresenting the situation regarding the removal of slum clusters from Shakur Basti, Trivedi remarked, “The kind of language used by the AAP towards individuals in constitutional positions speaks volumes about their character.”

He stated that AAP is the only party that blatantly lies and shamelessly defends its malpractices.

Trivedi concluded that the AAP government is unable to evade tough inquiries concerning the education scam, liquor scam, mohalla clinic scam, and Sheesh Mahal - the museum of corruption.
