New Delhi, Feb 27 (NationPress) The President of Delhi Congress, Devender Yadav, asserted on Thursday that the BJP government's unwillingness to engage in a comprehensive discussion in the Assembly regarding the CAG report on the liquor scam, along with its failure to present the remaining 13 CAG reports, signifies a collaboration with the AAP.

Before the commencement of the current Delhi Assembly session, the Delhi Congress had warned that AAP MLAs would obstruct the Assembly proceedings to derail the BJP government's efforts to present the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) reports.

Yadav contended that the BJP government's hesitance to thoroughly discuss the CAG report on the liquor scam clearly indicates that the BJP is also a beneficiary of the liquor cartel's generosity.

He further claimed that this situation exposes the BJP's collusion with the AAP in failing to present the other 13 CAG reports in the Assembly.

Following the presentation of the CAG report on the liquor scam on February 25, which revealed Rs 2,002 crore in corruption linked to the Arvind Kejriwal administration's liquor policy, the new BJP government neglected to table the remaining 13 pending CAG reports during the Assembly session on Thursday.

Yadav noted that it is widely recognized that the RSS played a significant role in the emergence of Kejriwal in Delhi's political arena, hence the new BJP government is working hand-in-hand with the AAP to keep CAG reports away from public examination.

He criticized the BJP government for deceiving the public with its theatrical disputes with the AAP and the suspension of AAP MLAs from the Assembly.

Yadav expressed concern that the current Assembly session might end without the presentation of the remaining CAG reports, allowing corrupt AAP leaders to evade accountability.

He emphasized the alarming fact that just six days after forming the government, the BJP MLAs are revealing their true intentions. Instead of delivering on their election commitments, such as Rs 2,500 monthly support for women and addressing pressing urban issues like damaged roads, filthy streets filled with waste, contaminated water, and skyrocketing power bills, they are focused on renaming locations like Najafgarh to Naharpur and Mustafabad to Shiv Puri.

Yadav remarked that the public elected the BJP anticipating effective governance to tackle the numerous challenges confronting the Capital and its residents, yet the BJP is proving to be as inept and corrupt as the Kejriwal government, whose primary concern appears to be corruption and mismanagement at the expense of Delhi's citizens.
