New Delhi, March 2 (NationPress) The President of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, stated on Sunday that following the presentation of CAG reports concerning the excise policy and health services, it is imperative for AAP to address inquiries regarding the alleged misappropriations by their administration.

Speaking to reporters, Sachdeva expressed his belief that the BJP administration will honor all electoral commitments, and those identified as culpable in the CAG reports will be subject to accountability.

He mentioned that the BJP government, under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, is committed to cleaning the Yamuna and launching a cruise on the river within a three-year timeframe.

Sachdeva asserted that AAP leaders lack the authority to interrogate the BJP government regarding the timeline for women to start receiving the promised Rs 2,500 monthly. “Instead, it’s their turn to respond to the queries raised by the CAG reports,” he emphasized.

He noted that two CAG reports have already been presented in the Assembly, adding that AAP and Manish Sisodia attempted to orchestrate a significant scheme of corruption by manipulating the excise policy to benefit three companies and generate illicit funds.

“The AAP government provided an unfair advantage to three brands, including Indo Spirit and Mahadev liquor,” he remarked.

“We assured the citizens of Delhi that we would present CAG reports during the first Assembly session, and we have already submitted two,” he reiterated.

“The AAP administration exploited the city and undermined the governance framework,” he pointed out, referencing the revelations in the CAG reports.

Indicating a swift rollout of the Ayushman Bharat initiative in the city, he mentioned that the legal proceedings concerning the scheme are currently under review.

The BJP leader criticized the former AAP administration for failing to present the CAG reports in the Assembly, saying, “They aimed to conceal their wrongdoings, but now the reports have been introduced in the House.”
