The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that discussions will revolve around the advancements made under the India-France Strategic Partnership and other global concerns. EAM Jaishankar will also be the Guest of Honour at the 31st edition of the French Ambassador's Conference.
While in Luxembourg, he is set to converse with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel and the country's senior officials. Additionally, he will engage with members of the Indian community residing in Luxembourg.
In November of the previous year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the G20 Summit in South Africa. The two leaders have also held discussions over the phone in September and August, focusing on efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and reaffirming India's commitment to a peaceful solution and restoration of stability in the region.
Throughout their recent dialogues, both leaders have reviewed and expressed positivity regarding the progress of bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including economic, defense, science, technology, and space.
They have reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the India-France Strategic Partnership in alignment with the Horizon 2047 Roadmap, Indo-Pacific Roadmap, and the Defence Industrial Roadmap.
