Hyderabad, Nov 9 (NationPress) Tragically, one individual lost their life and six others sustained injuries when a Multi-Utility Vehicle (MUV) collided with a Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus in the Sangareddy district of Telangana.

This unfortunate incident took place near Kavalampet Kandi mandal as the Toofan vehicle crashed into the RTC bus from behind. The bus was making its way to Hyderabad from Sangareddy.

The impact resulted in the immediate death of one person, identified as Balaiah, aged 45. Six others were injured in this collision, with some reported to be in critical condition.

The injured parties were promptly taken to the government hospital in Sangareddy for treatment. Local authorities registered a case and have initiated further investigations.

This incident adds to a worrying trend of road accidents involving buses throughout the Telugu states.

In a separate occurrence on November 4, a private bus collided with a truck in Andhra Pradesh's Sri Sathya Sai district, resulting in one death and eight injuries. The accident happened near Dhamajipalli in Chennakothapalle mandal as a Jabbar Travels bus struck the truck while making a turn.

Moreover, a head-on crash between an RTC bus and a tipper truck in Rangareddy district of Telangana claimed the lives of 19 individuals on November 3. The speeding truck, loaded with construction materials, collided with the bus, which was traveling to Hyderabad from Tandur. Many passengers were tragically trapped under the debris.

Another incident in Eluru district of Andhra Pradesh saw a private bus overturn on the night of November 3, resulting in one death and 10 injuries. The bus, belonging to Bharati Travels and heading to Hyderabad from Eluru, flipped while navigating a turn at Jubilee Nagar.

This was the second accident involving a private bus on that route in just ten days.

A horrific event occurred on October 24 when a private bus caught fire after running over a motorbike near Kurnool town in Andhra Pradesh, leading to the deaths of 19 people.

The owner of V Kaveri Travels, Vemuri Vinod Kumar, was arrested on November 7 in connection with this tragedy.

Additionally, the same travel company faced scrutiny again after passengers reported their bus, traveling from Tirupati to Hyderabad, was halted early Sunday in Bapatla district. Passengers were left waiting for hours, only to be informed that there was a minor issue.

Passengers claimed the original driver left during the journey, with a temporary driver taking over. Authorities are currently investigating these complaints.
