Global Leaders Rally Behind Trump's Iran Military Strikes
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Washington, March 2 (NationPress) Numerous global leaders expressed their robust backing following President Donald Trump's authorization of “Operation Epic Fury,” which was characterized as a mission to eliminate what was deemed an “imminent nuclear threat” from the Iranian regime and to dismantle its missile, naval, and proxy capabilities, according to the White House.
Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that Iran has been a destabilizing force in the region for decades and supported Washington’s aim of preventing a nuclear weapon from falling into Iranian hands, based on the statements released by the White House.
“For decades, the Iranian regime has acted as a destabilizing entity, through its ballistic missile and nuclear initiatives, support for armed proxies, and acts of violence and intimidation... We back the United States’ efforts to stop Iran from achieving a nuclear weapon and to halt Iran's ongoing threats to global peace and security,” Albanese remarked.
Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney described Iran as a primary source of instability in the Middle East and reiterated Canada’s support.
“Canada's stance is unequivocal: the Islamic Republic of Iran is the main source of instability and terror in the Middle East, holds one of the poorest human rights records globally, and should never be permitted to develop or obtain nuclear weapons... Canada endorses the United States in its pursuit to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear arsenal and to deter its regime from further threatening international peace and stability,” Carney emphasized.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed gratitude directly to Trump.
“I thank our great friend, President @realDonaldTrump, for his historic leadership,” Netanyahu stated.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama called for decisive action against Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, supporting stringent measures to prevent Tehran from enhancing its military capabilities.
“It is high time to cut ties and get straight to the point. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a terrorist organization and must be treated as such... We fully endorse every decisive action to ensure that the killers in Tehran do not acquire nuclear or any military capabilities to harm Israel or any other peace-loving nation in the Middle East. Terrorism needs to be identified and, once identified, it must be eradicated,” Rama asserted.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky associated American actions with deterrence.
“It is vital for the United States to act decisively. Whenever the U.S. shows resolve, global criminals are weakened,” Zelensky commented.
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani characterized the moment as transformative for the Iranian populace.
“The hour of freedom has arrived for the Iranian people, thanks to the leadership of the United States and President @realDonaldTrump,” Osmani declared.
British Member of Parliament Nigel Farage urged London to align more closely with Washington.
“The Prime Minister must reconsider the use of our military bases and support the Americans in this crucial fight against Iran!” Farage insisted.
The statements reflect a unified message among U.S. allies and partners, framing the strikes as a preventive measure against nuclear escalation and regional turmoil.
