Gandhinagar, April 20 (NationPress) Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced on Monday that the Ayushman Bharat scheme has made free treatment for severe illnesses available to economically disadvantaged and middle-class families during a ‘Vikas Sankalp Sabha’ in Santrampur, located in Mahisagar district.
Emphasizing the state's healthcare advancements, Patel remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established commendable provisions, encompassing everything from yoga practices to the Ayushman Bharat initiative, which addresses the health needs of the underprivileged and middle-income groups. This initiative has facilitated access to necessary medical treatments without imposing financial strains.
Beginning his speech with tributes to the heroes of Mangadh and Govind Guru, the Chief Minister emphasized that the development-centric policies initiated by the Prime Minister have positively impacted even the most marginalized individuals, asserting that elections are now focused on these significant development projects.
“The evident enthusiasm among the citizens reflects their steadfast confidence in the BJP,” he stated.
Commending PM Modi's leadership, Patel noted that he has always aimed high, ensuring that the benefits have reached millions, enhancing essential services such as water supply, electricity, and road connectivity throughout the state's villages. Many families have fulfilled their dreams of homeownership through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he emphasized.
In terms of tribal welfare, Patel pointed out that the Prime Minister has continuously worked on addressing issues faced by tribal communities.
“The persistent efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have effectively tackled the challenges of tribal populations, yielding positive outcomes,” he affirmed.
He also highlighted the decision to observe ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ on the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda as an acknowledgment of tribal culture and heritage.
Discussing administrative improvements, CM Patel mentioned the “historic transformations” in revenue regulations, which will allow for the direct conversion of land records from new tenure to old tenure in the 7/12 extract without requiring applications from citizens.
He added that the establishment of new talukas such as Godhar and Kothamba will enhance administrative efficiency in the area.
Patel urged voters to be vigilant against inducements from the opposition and called upon the public to secure a decisive victory for BJP candidates in the forthcoming local self-government elections.
