Gurugram, Feb 16 (NationPress) Following the BJP's recent announcement regarding candidates for the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) elections, the Congress party unveiled its list of 29 ward councillor candidates for MCG on Sunday evening.

In addition, the BJP disclosed the names of all 20 ward councillor candidates for the Manesar Municipal Corporation (MMC) on the same day.

However, the Congress has yet to reveal its candidates for MMC.

Sunder Lal Surpanch of Sikanderpur Badha village is set to contest for the mayor position under the BJP banner for MMC. Rajrani Malhotra will run on the BJP's mayor ticket, which was announced on Friday night, while Seema Pahuja will be the Congress candidate for the mayoral role in MCG.

According to the BJP’s list for MMC, the candidates include Madan Lal Saini from Ward 1, Reena Chauhan from Ward 2, Ruchi from Ward 3, Deepu Sharma from Ward 4, Dinesh Yadav from Ward 5, Bal Krishan from Ward 6, Rohit Chauhan from Ward 7, Satyadev Sarpanch from Ward 8, Jyoti Verma from Ward 9, Devender Yadav from Ward 10, and Ravi Yadav from Ward 11.

Other BJP candidates are Jaipal Singh from Ward 12, Mohit Yadav from Ward 13, Santkala from Ward 14, Kiran Devi from Ward 15, Suraj Bhan from Ward 16, Navita from Ward 17, Reena Yadav from Ward 18, Reena Yadav from Ward 19, and Pratap Singh from Ward 20.

The Congress candidates for MCG include Yogesh Lohiya from Ward 1, Kamlesh Yadav from Ward 2, Ankit Yadav from Ward 3, Jaipal Chaudhary from Ward 4, Poonam Kashyap from Ward 5, Satpal Jangu from Ward 6, Shakti Kataria from Ward 7, Prahlad Singh from Ward 8, Satpal Sharma from Ward 9, Rajiv Yadav from Ward 10, and Anita Saini from Ward 12.

Nominations will be scrutinized on February 18, and candidates can withdraw their nominations on February 19 from 11 am to 3 pm.

Voting is set for March 2 from 8 am to 6 pm, with vote counting commencing on March 12.
