Haryana: PM-KISAN has Empowered Rewari Farmers, Enhancing Their Dignity and Financial Stability

Rewari, Dec 8 (NationPress) The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) program has emerged as a revolutionary initiative for countless farmers throughout the nation. The financial aid provided by this scheme has greatly assisted farmers in enhancing their financial status, and for numerous individuals, it has reinstated dignity in their lives.
Farmers from the Rewari district in Haryana have expressed their appreciation for the PM-KISAN scheme, noting significant changes in their lives over the last decade due to various welfare initiatives launched by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Several beneficiaries of PM-KISAN in Rewari shared with IANS that they learned about the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana through various media channels. After applying, they now receive financial support comprising three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
Rajendra Singh, a farmer in Rewari, mentioned that he receives Rs 2,000 every four months.
"We utilize this money for purchasing seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural necessities. Previous administrations did nothing. Even when schemes were introduced, it was the middlemen who siphoned off our funds, diverting the allocated resources into their pockets," he stated.
He added that he discovered the PM-KISAN scheme through social media and went on to apply for it.
"I am immensely grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this farmer-centric scheme. He treats the citizens as his family, which is why his policies are advantageous for everyone," he remarked.
He elaborated, "In the past, rations intended for the underprivileged and BPL families were misappropriated by middlemen, but that is no longer the case. Today, everyone can access it directly by presenting their identification at the counters."
Another Rewari farmer, Prashant Singh, stated he benefits from several welfare initiatives, including the PM-KISAN scheme.
"The PM-KISAN scheme has granted us a life of dignity. We are no longer reliant on family for our expenditures. The annual support of Rs 6,000 has considerably eased our lives," he noted.
"We are deeply appreciative of PM Modi for initiating policies aimed at the economically disadvantaged, such as the Ujjwala Yojana, PM-KISAN, and free rations. What he has accomplished in a decade surpasses what was achieved in the previous 60 years," he continued.
He also expressed that the nation is privileged to have a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi, who has not only focused on the upliftment of every community but has also elevated India's status on the global stage.
Another local resident remarked that the Rs 6,000 assistance has empowered many villagers like him to lead lives filled with dignity.
"We are thankful to PM Modi. No previous Prime Minister has matched his strong developmental record," he concluded.
