This initiative, announced on Tuesday, aims to guarantee that these projects are completed within the designated timelines.
The primary objective of this move is to expedite project execution and ensure that the anticipated benefits reach the community promptly.
During a meeting with Administrative Secretaries and departmental heads, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi emphasized that the timely completion of essential development projects is crucial for enhancing governance outcomes and fostering public trust.
He noted that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will personally oversee the progress of these designated projects each month to eliminate obstacles and accelerate implementation.
In the meeting, the Chief Secretary urged all departments to identify key high-impact projects within their scope and submit a unified list as soon as possible.
He stressed that only those projects with significant public engagement and long-lasting socio-economic impacts should be included in this list.
Rastogi also directed the formation of a dedicated task force, comprising five senior officials, to regularly assess the progress of these projects.
This task force will monitor project milestones, identify delays, and ensure effective inter-departmental coordination as necessary.
Amit Aggarwal, Commissioner and Secretary (Industries and Commerce), provided an in-depth presentation on several major ongoing projects and underscored the necessity for real-time monitoring mechanisms.
He also called on departments to swiftly submit their shortlisted projects so that structured monitoring can commence immediately.
This initiative is anticipated to streamline project implementation, boost accountability, and guarantee that the developmental advantages reach the citizens of Haryana in a timely manner.
Recently, CM Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation for five substantial development projects totaling Rs 103.31 crore in Uchana, Jind district, aimed at reinforcing infrastructure and driving development in the area.
These included three projects inaugurated at a cost of Rs 28.54 crore and two projects for which foundation stones were laid, involving an estimated expenditure of Rs 74.77 crore, highlighting the state government’s commitment to enhancing public infrastructure and improving civic facilities.
