New Delhi, April 15 (NationPress) The inauguration of the inaugural Hisar to Ayodhya flight on Tuesday filled the local community with excitement and joy. Numerous travelers who embarked on the first flight to the birthplace of Lord Ram expressed their gratitude towards the government for creating a direct air link between the two cities.
Just a day prior, PM Modi laid the cornerstone for the ₹410 crore new Terminal Building at Maharaja Agrasen airport in Hisar, Haryana, and also inaugurated the first commercial Hisar-Ayodhya flight.
Residents were thrilled and eager for their inaugural air travel directly from Hisar to Ayodhya. Many passengers remarked that this day was immensely significant for them and akin to a celebration.
“Today, we are celebrating this milestone with our family,” shared one of the travelers.
Several passengers voiced that this day symbolizes great pride and honor for the city of Hisar. They expressed their thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini for initiating this air service.
Some mentioned that this flight offers them the opportunity to visit the birthplace of Lord Ram directly from their hometown.
Excited women passengers expressed their enthusiasm for their first journey to Ayodhyadham.
Divya, who boarded the inaugural flight, stated, “It is my good fortune to fly for the first time from Hisar.”
“Today, we are traveling from Hisar to Ayodhya to visit Ram Lalla. We are incredibly grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naib Singh for making our Ayodhya visit unforgettable,” she added.
Jaideep Singh Balhara, CEO of Haryana Airport Development Corporation, also conveyed his satisfaction regarding this development.
“This is only the first phase; subsequently, we will initiate 24-hour air services from Hisar airport,” he informed IANS.
He also mentioned that following Ayodhya and Delhi, air services to Chandigarh and Jaipur will commence, with plans for air connectivity to Ahmedabad and Jammu underway.
“The night landing facility at the airport is expected to be operational within six months,” he further stated.
