Karnal, April 25 (NationPress) In a heartfelt gesture, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda visited the home of Indian Navy officer Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who tragically lost his life among the 26 victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack. During his visit, he extended his condolences to the grieving family and called for adequate relief and a compassionate job for a family member.

Hooda expressed his prayers for the departed soul's peace and strength for the family to cope with their immense loss. He emphasized that the entire nation stands in solidarity with them during this challenging time. In a press interaction, Hooda insisted on proper compensation and a government job for Vinay Narwal's family. “There is widespread anger across the country due to this cowardly act of terrorism, and the nation is united against such brutality. We urge the government not to spare the culprits and to make any necessary tough decisions to eradicate terrorism,” he stated.

He further demanded a thorough investigation into all aspects of the incident, particularly concerning the failures in security and intelligence, to prevent future attacks. “We support the government's measures against Pakistan and call for even stronger actions. Justice for victim families can only be achieved when both the terrorists and their masterminds are held accountable,” he added.

The late Navy officer was honored with a poignant farewell by his wife, Himanshi, on Wednesday evening, embracing his coffin wrapped in the Tricolour. The 26-year-old officer, who had just married on April 16, was killed in the attack on April 22.

Additionally, State Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar visited the family of Navy officer Vinay Narwal to express his condolences. He condemned the incident, stating that the entire nation shares in their grief and assured the family of support from both the Central and state governments.
