In a statement shared on X, High Commissioner Suneet Mehta expressed his appreciation for meeting with Honourable Sakiasi Ditoka. The dialogue was characterized by warm exchanges and constructive discussions that reaffirmed the longstanding India-Fiji Veilomani Dosti partnership while identifying new pathways to enhance bilateral collaboration across priority areas.

Earlier on Tuesday, Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita met with Fiji's Minister for Finance, Commerce, and Business Development, Esrom Immanuel, in New Delhi, where they discussed bilateral relations, shared priorities, and opportunities for collaboration in digital infrastructure.

In a post on X, Margherita shared his enthusiasm, stating, "I was pleased to meet with Honourable Esrom Immanuel this morning.
