New Delhi, May 14 (NationPress) India has reportedly eliminated two Turkish military operatives during Operation Sindoor, as confirmed by sources on Wednesday.
It has come to light that Turkey has not only supported Pakistan in its conflict with India by providing over 350 drones, but has also sent operators to assist.
Sources revealed, “Turkish advisors were instrumental in aiding Pakistani Army officials in coordinating drone strikes against India following Operation Sindoor.”
According to defense sources, Pakistan deployed Bayraktar TB2 and YIHA drones in their operations against India.
“These drones are suspected to have been utilized for target identification and potentially for kamikaze missions, particularly aimed at threatening advanced Indian positions or supply convoys,” sources indicated.
Over the years, Pakistan has cultivated a robust military relationship with Turkey.
Defense analysts assert that the collaboration between Pakistan and Turkey has escalated significantly in recent years, noting that the Turkish government has provided not only essential military hardware but also training for the Pakistani military.
Reports suggest that the Pakistani Army utilized around 300-400 drones to target Indian military installations along the northern and western borders during the nights of May 7 and 8.
“A forensic analysis is currently in progress regarding the drone wreckage. Preliminary findings indicate that these drones are likely Turkish Asisguard Songar drones,” Colonel Sofiya Qureshi stated at a press conference concerning Operation Sindoor.
