New Delhi, Nov 13 (NationPress) The third edition of the annual Indian Military Heritage Festival (IMHF) is set to commence in the national capital tomorrow, showcasing the varied dimensions and initiatives of the Indian armed forces, as stated by an official.
Organized by the United Service Institution of India, this two-day event on November 14 and 15 will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth.
The IMHF aims to promote discussions on India’s military history and heritage, along with addressing national security and geopolitics. The festival will serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration among the military, policymakers, scholars, and the public, as stated in the official announcement.
Highlights of IMHF 2025 include an exhibition of iconic military art by Lt Col Arul Raj (Retd) and the publication releases of The Sukraniti: Statecraft and Warcraft by Col P.K. Gautam (Retd) and Honours & Awards of the Indian Armed Forces by Dr A.K. Mishra.
Panel discussions will feature renowned authors discussing India’s military history, with topics including Operation Sindoor, The War India Forgot, and Tussles over Tibet, among others.
The previous festival edition launched Project 'Shaurya Gatha', an initiative by the Department of Military Affairs and USI of India to preserve and promote India’s military heritage through education and tourism.
