Individual Takes His Own Life in Bengaluru; Suspected Marital Issues

Bengaluru, Dec 9 (NationPress) A man has tragically taken his own life at his home in the affluent neighborhood of Manjunatha Layout, as reported by the police on Monday. Authorities noted that he left behind a suicide note that spans over 40 pages.

The deceased has been identified as Atul Subhash, originally from Uttar Pradesh, who was residing in the upscale area of Marathahalli in Bengaluru.

Initial inquiries by law enforcement indicated that Atul Subhash’s wife had previously filed a case against him in Uttar Pradesh.

It is suspected that he took this drastic step due to marital discord. Atul was associated with the “Save Indian Family Foundation,” an NGO dedicated to assisting individuals facing false allegations from spouses.

The police revealed that he had even created a “time-table” outlining his intentions over two days leading up to the suicide.

Within his suicide note, Atul Subhash detailed specific tasks to be completed prior to his death under three distinct headings. The first section titled, “what should be done before dying,” included instructions such as: “Take a bath, open the windows and gate lock, recite the name of Lord Shiva 100 times, keep the keys of the car and bike in the fridge, and place the note on the table.”

He also indicated that “the suicide note should be sent to the High Court, Supreme Court, office, and family.” He concluded this section with a haunting statement: “one should destroy self.”

In the second section, “what should be done one day earlier,” Atul recommended clearing all financial obligations, wrapping up communications and work-related tasks, and resolving legal matters. He urged the packing of essential documents in preparation for the final day.

The third section, labeled “the final day,” outlined that a ‘video note’ should be uploaded. He instructed to erase fingerprints and facial recognition data from mobile devices, return the laptop, charger, and ID to his workplace, and upload a scanned version of the ‘death note.’ He emphasized ensuring all payments were finalized before setting up the means for hanging.

According to police reports, Atul had hung a sign that read “Justice is Due.”

He shared the note with a WhatsApp group belonging to the NGO “Save Indian Family Foundation” late Sunday night, asking members to assist his family if they were able.

An official stated that further inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
